Welcome to Fog Hill Cello Studio!

My name is Heather Vorwerck and I offer cello lessons and chamber music to students in San Francisco. I also provide private lessons in San Ramon.

I accept students aged 10 and up, from absolute beginners to advanced.

Adults

If you are an adult, you can take private lessons, explore chamber music and perform with other adult learners in my studio. San Francisco has an amazing population of adult amateur musicians. This is a great way to meet your fellow cellists.

Youth

If you are a parent or teen, I offer private lessons and chamber music coaching. Private lessons are a valuable compliment to school music programs. I focus on healthy technique, theory and ear training - things that can sometimes be overlooked in a hectic school setting. Private cello lessons can help pre-teen and teenage students explore more musical territory and advance more quickly.

Please note that group lessons and chamber music are currently only available in San Francisco.
